Strange Sunday morn. Itching armpits when went to bed last nite and woke myself scratching and itching like crazy about 0300. Itch had spread....upper arms, back, sides, etc. Has an angry looking rash moving rapidly, itching like mad. Carol got a couple of Benadryl down me but about 0500 began our way to the ER. Along the way itching subsided and stopped by the time we arrived. Went in to lobby restroom to check rash and it was nearly gone so we returned home. Figured ER would only keep me all morning, run some tests, and give me more Benadryl anyway. Stayed on Benadryl rest of today and all o.k. Not a clue what was wrong. My best guess is insect or spider bite.
