Strange course of events. Yesterday Terry and I went for a walk on the harbour beach. The tide was going out very fast and wading against it was quite hard, but great fun. Playing with the water lasted about 2 hours and we were quite weary after we got home. Right knee started to nag a bit during the evening and continued this morning. Went to the gym and after half an hour of aerobics, the knee nag turned to something much more. As usual after gym we went to local supermarket and after plodding about for half an hour, knee getting very painful so I left Terry in the shop and went outside to wait in the car. Outside an elderly lady was collecting a trolley from the trolley park and she collapsed onto the ground. Rushed over. Blue lips. No pulse.Started beating her heart back to working. Just half a minute and she,s breathing, opened her eyes and gave me a great big smile. Other people started to fuss about so I reverted to plan "A" and went to sit in the car. I saved a life today....all because Terry and I went for a walk on the beach yesterday !
