Strange thing happened today: I have been helping my friend, he has 3 kids and a wife. Ive let them stay with me for over two months while they were between houses. So they got a house, thats good news. They moved out with whats left of theirs getting picked up tomorrow. So his wife texts me today. Out of the blue she starts asking me for a favor, some tech help. She stops in the middle of asking and starts insulting me. Being rude and crass. Then she returns to asking for the favor. Shes been texting me a few times talking strange. It get even more strange. While she was staying here rent and bill free she does absolutely nothing but lay down: no cooking, no cleaning, no parenting, so that while my friend is at work, Im actually caring for the kids and feeding them food out of my cupboards (which isnt a big deal for me because I like the kids - shes the step mom), and shes calling me lazy. Shes still texting me talking junk. I have no idea where any of this came from. I was feeling good that even though Im not really in a position to be helping like I did that they got a house. Them getting a place and having a home for the holidays is like the payment for my sacrifice. Now, I dont know what to think. Im still glad they got the place and I could help my friend and his kids, but she made a good feeling and a good deed feel not so good.
