Strange,this is the most emotional I have ever been regarding 11/NOV/ even though both my grandparents were severely wounded in WW1 (one became a double amputee, both legs. the other was poison gassed and felt the effects for the rest of his life) although they both made a contribution to WW2,the first one was breeding pigeons for the War Ministry to carry messages and the second was a fire watcher,both duties were carried out after their normal working hours.........Yes you lazy,idle bastards of today take note,they accepted no benefits of any kind other than their war pensions.It makes me sick when I hear these moaning wheedling shits of today protesting about sweet F/A. you bastards need to get a life, maybe you,re not aware that the elderly stooped gent with a walking stick may just have stormed the beaches of Normandy, been shot down over Germany ,or became a prisoner of war held by the sons of Nippon. RESPECT is a word that many of these lowlife scum don,t know or understand.
