Strangest things are happening to me lately. Not sure why, but today I finished up work and ran in the get a coffee before I get my lil Mikaela. When I walked in a little old man was standing there and dropped his change in the floor. It was difficult for him to walk never mind bend over to pick it up so I went to help him. He said, bless your heart! I of course said no problem and I helped him make his way to the table and gave him his paper. As I placed his change on the table, he put his hand on mine and said, you remind me of my Addie. Addie?? I have no clue. He says my wife, god rest her soul! Now me,Im emotional anyway lately. He said ohhhhh I loved her so, she wore her soul on her sleeve, just like you do! Ive never heard that expression before, always your heart on your sleeve. He said no, I can recognize a beautiful soul when I see one. Now the ladies at Dunkin are practically in tears, as well as me. The reason why I share this is because I believe that was one of the most beautiful things anyone has ever said to me! Ive always tried to be a good person, and now after losing Aydan I try even more to be that good person but also to give my heart. I believe things happen for a reason, I believe that message was sent to me from Aydan. His hand on mine, it was a crazy feeling! My Aydan J has taught me so much and as painful as losing him was Ive learned a valuable lesson. I know I throw it out at you guys all the time but its only because I know from experience. I know how precious life is, especially when you love someone so much. To have that man tell me I reminded him of his wife, his love, I will never forget that.
