*** Street Football League 2014 - Falcon Complex *** Round of 16: Red Devils Legends 4 - 1 GC United Legends score 4 times in the final 5 minutes to comeback from a goal down against the fantastic GC United team to register a place in the final eight. This was the sixth meeting between the two clubs this year with Devils having a 100% win record against possibly the best team of pindi this year. Ammar started in the goal with Omer and Sameer in defence and Ahmed Saeed Butt and Ahmed Shayan up ahead. Usman Mashood, returning from his injury, was the only substitute available. After a lively start to the game by both teams, it was GC United who drew first blood when Usman found Ali Qazis brilliant run in the box, the GC United goal machine making no mistake in dispatching home the opener. Devils then played some good football and were able to create few really good chances only to see Shayans shot go wide on a couple of occasions and Butt hitting the woodwork twice. GC on the other end kept posing a threat. The second half started off with more or less the same story, Butt hitting the upright twice and missing another glorious chance to make Devils wonder if it was indeed not their day. With 5 minutes remaining though, it was Ahmed Saeed Butt who found the equalizer with a brilliant right footed finish. A minute later, Shayan found Sameer open on goal with a delightful ball, Sameer stretching to put the ball in the back of the net. A minute later, Sameer returned the favor to Shayan, Shayan with a million dollar touch to beat his marker before unleashing a shot to match the skill. Usman Mashood, who had earlier cleared out a ball on a bicycle kick to show good signs of recovery, then scored on another assist by Sameer to make it 4-1 in favor of Devils. Well played GC United, the scoreline probably doesnt reflect how closely fought the game was. Man of the Match: Ahmed Shayan
