Street-food in Padova I had heard about this place and even looked it up on TripAdvisor to see if it was true… and surprisingly it was! It’s a red curtain stand that just pops out of nothing at the perfect moment, right about when you are starving but it’s too early for dinner, and you are walking around the city without a dinner reservation on a Saturday evening (but that is another story ☺ ). Limited amount of delicious food, all fish, served on paper plates or cups depending on what they decided to cook that day…a glass of wine from the neighbouring bar…and there you have the perfect aperitivo in a stunning piazza! They are famous for their boiled octopus with green sauce (delicious), and we were lucky enough to have “Baccalà mantecato”. … what can I say… food in Italy is delicious everywhere!
