Yes, you have more potential for greater strength with more muscle mass, but most people have the muscle already to accomplish way more strength intensive feats than they find themselves able to do, because it is all a result of neuromuscular adaptation. This is why many powerlifters are nowhere near the size of bodybuilders but can far exceed their lifts." - A quote I found on youtube concerning a calisthenics video. Very true, and something which many people are not aware of.
