These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily while addressing the inaugural function of the website of Human Welfare Foundation of Telangana and A.P. hwfap.org/human-civil-rights/information-guidance-centre-for-welf.... Present on this occasion were Mr. Mohammed Jalaluddin Akbar, IFS, Special Officer of Telangana State Wakf Board, Prof. Mohammed Akbar Ali Khan, Former VC of Telangana University, Mr. M. Veda Kumar, Chairman of Forum for Better Hyderabad, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, General Secretary of Human Welfare Foundation. Continuing his speech, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan told that Human Welfare Foundation has been established for the welfare of humanity. He advised the office bearers of the foundation to organize vocational training programs so that the talents of the youths could be highlighted. He further told that by improving the capabilities of the youths, opportunities could be provided for making better use of the welfare schemes of the Govt. Mr. Mohammed Jalaluddin Akbar stressed the need to improve the social and economic condition of the Muslims as has been pointed out in the report of Sacchar Committee. He told that the condition of the Muslims has become worst. The Department of Minorities Welfare needs voluntary organizations like Human Welfare Foundation in order to provide guidance to the Muslim youths for taking advantage of the Govt. schemes. He told the organizers to get information from Govt. Departments and create awareness among the Muslim youths to ensure their welfare. He applauded the steps taken by Jamat-e-Islami in improving the financial status of the Muslim in A.P. and Telangana. Human Welfare Foundation has been established under the auspices of Students’ Islamic Organization of India (SIO). Its website was inaugurated by Mr. Mohammed Jalaluddin Akbar. Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Akbar Ali Khan applauded the modus operandi of Human Welfare Foundation for creating awareness about Govt. schemes. He further told that the need for such organizations was being felt for a long time. In his speech, Mr. Veeda Kumar stressed the need to maintain the Deccani Civilization of Hyderabad which will be helpful in maintaining Social Equality and Tolerance. Mr. Mohammed Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, General Secretary of Human Welfare Foundation presented the report of the organization and told that a guidance center has been established to create awareness about the Govt. schemes in order to overcome the difficulties in making use of such schemes.
