Stressful day, bad news about my car...as we feared its totaled. Thought about buying it as salvage and fixing it anyway, but its too far gone. Not sure how much theyre going to give us, but it wont be what it was worth to me! Started looking at new used cars and found a couple of older, but low mileage ones that might be okay. One looked really, really good on cars and the carfax was great, but when I checked the dealers site, it was already sold. Guess it really was as good as it looked. Feeling hurried to find something, State Farm isnt going to let me keep that rental long after the check is cut. Also my medical insurance company management people are trying to be asses to me. When I called to let them know about the accident and the pending PI settlement they went out of their way to make me feel stupid by making it extra clear to me that they have first right of recovery and I have NO RIGHT to make a settlement without their imput and knowledge. Well, no duh!!!! Arent I the one who informed you what was happening! Im not stupid! Plus a lot of changes at work requiring extra physical and metal effort relight now. I need a vacation, but I want to save my time for when the Peanut comes. And now we cant sleep.
