Stronger than ever Hide Details From Raul de la Torre, Palermo Workers Union To josefkhan11@yahoo Zafrullah, When we began our strike more than a year ago, we knew Palermo’s would try to break us. But our 18 mile March for a Slice of Justice on Saturday showed we’re stronger than ever and reminded us we’re not alone. Thousands of you sent letters to the Fallucca brothers—the owners of Palermo’s—calling on them to meet with us. We were flooded with messages of solidarity on social media and hundreds of people from the Milwaukee area joined us on our march. Since Angelo and Giacomo Fallucca have continued to ignore us, we brought our demands directly to Angelo’s home. Not surprisingly, he refused to even acknowledge us. Instead, he placed security guards at the end of his driveway and he and his brother paid for a full page ad in Saturday’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to distort the facts about our march. But we’re not throwing in the towel. Saturday’s march was only the beginning. We’ve got some big plans in the works to ramp up the pressure on the Fallucca brothers and your support will make sure we’re able to put them into action. Can you donate $10 or more to our strike fund to support our campaign to get the Fallucca brothers to finally meet and negotiate with us? Your donation will ensure we’re able to stay on the picket line and focus our energy on organizing for the battles ahead. We’ll be pushing to get Palermo’s kicked off campuses across the country, have more stores in Wisconsin and across the Midwest pull Palermo’s from their shelves and hold the Falluccas accountable for their blatant disregard for workplace safety and workers’ rights. Help us keep the fight for justice at Palermo’s going and donate $10 or more to the strike fund today. Thank you for your continued support. In Solidarity, Raul de la Torre Palermo Workers Union
