Strucural violence is real, the victims it creates are real and the mechanisms of avoiding this inhumane brutality, denying it as an essential byproduct of our chosen economic form by using political dialogue and debate, as well as, public media to strip human beings of dignity to justifying this behavior; causing segragation, distrust and criminal violence; surrounds us. We could change our economic method if not for the archetupes embedded in our perception of social stratification, the memes of ego, identity and compeition and hegemony by a global 1% over the global perception of values and individualism.... All of this is an enculturated set of beliefs, passed down through geneations, creating attitudes from which people develop values of self, success and who deserves what and why. I think, if we can justify such a brutal unfair system, wecan develop an equitable system based on human dignity, opportunity, education and sustainability... It is merely another set of beliefs.... Like religions, languages and customs... we can set up virtually any belief system and organize around it
