Struggle is an inevitable part of life for those who seek great contributions. So how do we deal with it in a healthy way? 1. Meet overwhelm head-on. When we are overwhelmed with a problem, we can become paralyzed. Instead, spring into action. Start overwhelming your problems with the sheer amount of focus, effort and energy you put into solving them. Instead of curling up in fear, get focused on whats positive, whats needed, and what youre going to do next. 2. Attack on many fronts. Most people try one thing to solve a problem, and that’s why they fail. Major challenges, frustrations, and problems in our lives demand multiple areas of attack. Create 3-5 new habits to solve major challenges in your life. 3. Honor the struggle. Honor it all: the suffering, the challenges, the frustration, the negative emotions, and the things that really freak you out. The challenges are given to test us, to stretch us, to inspire perspective and growth. Dont throw hate at your struggles, for all things that hate touches amplify into bigger fires. 4. Be the peaceful warrior. Make peace with your struggles but be determined to improve. Say, “This is the way it is right now. I’m trying to make it better, but I’m okay with the hand Ive been given and Im grateful for all my blessings.” Accept yourself and every situation as-is, and keep an intention to love yourself even as you strive to improve. 5. Find your faith. Your struggles have been put before you by divine hand in order to make you pay attention. Keep faith in yourself, in your dreams, in the incredible reality that so many people will support you as you express yourself and your dreams. Have faith. Have faith.
