Struggle with squats? The most common issue I get is that they cant feel it in their glutes/quads or their knees cave inwards especially on the ascent. This is an old technique used to help correct the issue. Basically what youre trying to do is facilitate the error which will then force you to resist against it. This is called Reactive Neuromuscular Training (RNT) which is a great feedback mechanism to force correct & safer movement patterns.
