Struggling for words tonight to tell my kids how proud I am to be their coach. I say my kids about our Amvets minor team that played with heart and passion all season long. I love each and every one of them and couldnt be more proud! We ended up in a bad situation tonight, losing on a technicality of a rule (running out of batters in the bottom of the last inning) and I know it stings to go out that way. Parents, thank you for letting me coach your children and sharing the love of our national pastime. I look forward to coaching them again next year and continuing our great friendship as a baseball family.
