Struggling to increase your Facebook fans? Three things to consider 1) Is Facebook the right Venue? Would you be better on Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter or Linkedin? Certain genres have higher density of interested people than others on FAcebook 2) Is your message too self-centred? Ie is it like a one way radio. If you think how can I add value and give 80-90% of the time, the other 10% can be promotional with much higher engagement 3) Are you driving people to your Facebook page or just hoping theyll show up? Facebook is increasingly rewarding pages with more visibility to new people based upon the engagement you receive on your page. So remember to send emails, tell people, cross promote from Twitter, etc and youll be rewarded Compared to Twitter, Facebook is much harder to grow quickly without advertising, however the engagement and trust you can build on Facebook is probably much higher Let me know what you think about this article.
