Student Ambassadors - The Student Ambassador scheme is run by the Education Liaison Team to help assist with College events like Open Days and careers fairs, give campus tours and presentations to prospective FE and HE students, and help with event management and admin. It’s flexible, paid work that fits in around students’ other commitments, and it is open to all full-time FE or HE students at Bradford College. SAs don’t just promote the College generally but also act as fantastic spokespeople for their courses and Programme Areas – sharing their experience with other young people considering coming to Bradford College. Posters and flyers giving information about the scheme will be visible in all College buildings to inform students about the scheme and how to apply. In addition to this, we’d like to ask tutors to encourage any students who would make particularly good Ambassadors to apply for the scheme. SAs need to be reliable, excellent team players, show confidence in dealing with colleagues and members of the public and have the ability to speak positively about the college. The application process for the SA scheme is the standard HR application procedure for any College post, so students may need assistance in completing the application form and personal statement. Students will apply through the online form on the College’s vacancies page. The deadline for applications will be Friday the 18th of October. For more information, and to apply, contact HR on 01274 433141.
