Student organizations that are based on popular opinion and - TopicsExpress

Student organizations that are based on popular opinion and antagonistic measures portray themselves as moral compasses for the student body in the ongoing journey towards right and wrong. Adre Gide once wrote Culture, which is born of life, ends up killing it towards similar ideologies. Moralist have always had the fault of believing in a common good, a measure so impossible to define that they are never the actual end but just the means from where to spread their influence. Even the actual idea of having right or wrong is ridiculous. At what point is critical analysis overpowered by the roaring of a crowd? Where do we lose ourselves into the many, while drifting back and forwards into what is convenient to our interest? These organizations would have you believe that freedom of speech and democracy are their prime objectives. But then again organism born of antagonism must indulge in antagonistic objectives as well. Those who proclaim to fight for FREEDOM, ACCESSIBILITY, THE POOR and THE WILLING only wish to do it in an inclosed space, the politicized space. True revolution is done far away from the closed intervals of the cunning. True revolution cannot be televised. But then again, who is to stop these organizations from arrogating such victories?
