Student speaker series: Spotlight on Shoumi Mittra, student at H R College of Commerce and intern at Godrej At Godrej, not only am I taken seriously, but I’ve been given a project with targets that are on my boss’s agenda. I’ve been connected with people all over India, and have coordinated promotional activities in Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Cochin, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Pune, Chennai and many more cities. I’ve travelled to Bangalore and Delhi for overseeing and providing critical feedback for these promotional activities. I would recommend the Talerang program to other students for 3 reasons: 1. You’re gently forced to do things most students dread doing: thinking about the future and focusing. 2. This focus makes you come off as a much stronger candidate and moreover, a more confident person. 3. You become a part of a pool of talents, people and organizations that would never have been so accessible otherwise. The program provides a segue from the student life into a professional life.
