Students: These are the grades for the 2nd Period of the course. If there is any activity you delivered on time and it is not in the table please send me an email with a picture of your submission (activity submitted not in progress) in Blackboard and the file attached: https://dropbox/s/o4pz3b72mxrwukz/2nd_Partial%20Grades.pdf I have considered several things to help you to improve your grades and I waited until today to receive any missing activity. 1. The midterm exam included 7 extra points. 5 in the practice and 2 in the theory. 2. In the theoretical section of the exam, you had 2 chances to answer it 3. In the practical section of the exam, if your latest attempt reviewed was completed on time, your grade was multiplied by 1.1. 3. You had the option to complete 2 extra activities during this period. 4. If you participated more than 2 times in the Discussion Forum on time you received extra credit. 5. If you delivered any activity on time and the activity included some features that added value to your homework (features beyond the requirements). You received extra credit. 6. In the quizes you could answer them twice and the highest grade was taken into account. 7. I tried to answer every question you made, I was every wednesday in ruido from 5:30 to 7pm for office hours (except for the 2 weeks I was not in Mexico, but I gave you my skype account) and if you needed to see me in a different schedule I attended your request. I believe that in every session and activity you have had the chance to learn, to make an effort to growth your skills, to reach your goals and to address your interests through the project (programming, mechanics, electronics, etc). You have decided to take every opportunity or ignore it. For the final grade you will have the chance to receive extra points if your project is in the top 2. Also, we have an agreement. For the partial grades, 70% of the best grade, this means 2nd partial grade, will be considered if you improved your grade in 5 points. 80% if the average grade of your team was improved in 5 points and you improved your grade. Finally, if you and your group did it better and the whole group improved in 5 points (in average), the percentage would be 90%. Congrats to you for your effort during this second period!!! we are reaching the end of the course. =)
