Studies demonstrate that women are stronger than men in building consensus Studies indicate the fact that females are genetically and by their family rearing role are more effective in building consensus in crucial conversations versus men, because of presence of oxytosen hormone present in them genetically. The presence of this hormone generates the feeling of love, affiliation and empathy among females. Studies furthermore demonstrate that right after the child birth, females show huge love towards their new borne regardless, whether he or she is good looking or ugly or even the baby looks like a lizard, their love and affection is boundless. Additionally, because of the structure of their brain and role, they always seek collaboration of their family members, of their neighbors and associates and they open to listen more attentively to others during conversations and henceforth, their response most often base on their understanding of the other party’s needs, rather than being spontaneous and abrupt just to win the argument as the men typically due to their role as bread earner for their unidirectional thinking. When we are in the process of negotiations, we need to fully understand the other party’s needs by being active and empathetic listeners and our response must be based on keeping our own viewpoint, the other party’s viewpoint and neutral viewpoint in order to have a win/win deal. As only win/win deals are triggers of longer-term and productive relationships in business life, where I believe that women has a natural and role edge upon men to reach the consensus faster via collaboration, understanding and patience versus men, who want more often a quick and prompt resolution of the problem, because of their pivotal thinking or decision making typical style.
