Studio space in Burton upon Trent East Street Arts is a contemporary arts organisation founded in 1993 in Leeds, our work now extends throughout Yorkshire, the North East, Midlands, the East of England and the South. Our mission is the broadest sense the furtherance of the arts and we do this through providing access to resources to make and produce art, facilitating skills and professional development, a programme of residencies and exchanges and a public programme that engages audiences. We have three permanent studio buildings in Leeds, one in Gateshead and have been freeing up vacant commercial premises over the last four years for artistic use. East Street Arts has recently acquired two vacant offices in Burton upon Trent and would like to open them up as workspace for local artists. Station Street, Burton, second and third floor office studios. Two large open plan offices that would be suitable for studio use, rehearsals, meetings, screenings, shoots, workshops. There are toilets and running water on both floors, great natural light, a dongle for internet access will be provided but will need topping up by users. The studio offices are unfurnished but there is some furniture on site that could be used. We are open to individual or shared use. Costs are £80 per month per floor plus metered electricity and internet top up costs (approx £15 per month). You would also need to be a member of East Street Arts which is £50 per year (£25 student discount). Views of the surrounding area.
