Study and Rightly Divide... Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV) Ministers of Christ doesnt study, concentrate on doing their best for men, but for God. Some are fund of studying and quoting the scripture without thorough search to know the Word of truth to present it plain and simple. It is one thing to quote the scripture like the devil did before Jesus, but it is entirely a different thing to rightly divide/lay out the truth plain and simple. * Those priests, preachers and pastors who dont know the truth will tell you lies that no one can understand everything in the Bible or it depends on how you interpret the Bible. They are ignorant of the truth because they dont have the Spirit of the truth in them; for Jesus says, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth...and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13 KJV) > The scripture or bible is not hard to understand scroll or book since the Holy Ghost came and He is making us that have Him of quick understand (Isa 11:1-3. Matt 10:26-27. Jn 14:26). Friends, the Holy Spirit of truth wont teach those that dont have Him. Every true born again child of God has the Spirit of truth in him/her, to know all things in the scripture; Elder John said, But ye(born again children of God worldwide) have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things...But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (1 John 2:20, 27 KJV) * Today ignorance has made some born again children of God to belittle Who thats in them and exalting a mere man/woman in His position to teach them to know God and His Word of truth. Jesus says, And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:3 KJV) Lack of the knowledge of the truth sent them into captivity of religion, tradition and doctrines of men (Isa 5:13). Jesus says, It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God (Isa 54:13). Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. (John 6:45 KJV) * When God Himself, in the person of the Holy Spirit, teach you, you will have peace and come to Jesus the Truth (Jn 8:31-32; 14:6); then you will quit running after men to teach you the truth, and agrees with the truth wherever you hear it but lean on Jesus (Matt 11:28-30). The Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit are One; Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:17, 18 KJV) + Couple your fasting and praying with studying of the scriptures, not just reading your bible for prayer points and preaching. Note: Satan cannot quote the complete truth, he and his agents quotes and twist the half truth; Jesus revealed that to us (Read Lk 4:3-13). > Honor those ministers of Christ who labor in studying and rightly dividing the Word of truth; Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. (1 Timothy 5:17 KJV) * Do not be gullible but do your own search to know if they are right with the present truth; These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so...Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (Acts 17:11. 1Jn 4:1 KJV) > Yes, we are equal in Christ but studying or searching to know the truth will distinguish you among the brethren. No wonder Paul said, But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV) The profit in studying/laboring in the truth is that you will know better and matured in knowledge of The Lord and the mysteries of the kingdom than those who pay little or no attention to laboring in the Word of truth. And those who hardly labor in Word and doctrines will find it hard to understand you; such are victims or children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (Eph 4:14). Here is Apostle Pauls exhortation to young Pastor Timothy; Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. (1 Timothy 4:13-16 KJV) > If you cant save yourself from ignorance, you cant save others (Read Matt 15:7-9,12-14). A priest or a pastor that dont know to rightly divide the truth will is teaching for doctrines the commandments of men, instead of what Jesus commanded. If you believe on Jesus Christ, then continue in His words; study, know and rightly divide it with the help of the Holy Spirit the rest of your life. + Dear Lord, help to me to let the blind leaders alone and uproot with the present truth every plant false doctrines planted in the minds and hearts of your people in Jesus Name!
