Studying the nature and behaviors of primal, instinctive creatures - TopicsExpress

Studying the nature and behaviors of primal, instinctive creatures will give man a better understanding of the nature of life and death as well as the nature of morality and law! We all desire to survive, thrive and live on for as long as possible. We all must eat. We all have enemies even if you are as antisocial, solitaire and quiet as a spider. We associate human characteristics with animals and as a result program ourselves to believe that animals like snakes, spiders, vultures and so on are evil. Perhaps they are and we dont truly understand the necessity and true purpose of evilness. Perhaps they posses no evilness at all and we associate them with these moral descriptions because we relate to their nature and struggle thus we assume a vain need to justify our own nature and desire and inclinations to destroy and consume. Either way, their is much more work and study to be done surrounding human and animal nature as it applies to morality and behavior. It is clear that we fear these natural creatures of instinct and categorize them as lesser beings... ( i.e. Dont act like an animal) thus when we as humans and mankind display these same behaviors, we assume that this behavior is of a lower nature and should be rejected and done away with. We assume and promote the idea that we as man are intellectually superior to these lower creatures of nature. Yet when we are threatened by these lower, less intelligent beings as well as other humans, we resort to the same primal nature that can witnessed in things like war, crime, obsession, justice, survival and so on. It is a part of our true absolute nature yet we deny and reject it then attempt to intellectualize it as irrelevant and useless. We were told not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil before we were told not to be evil... We are told that there is a higher self and a lower self. God vs the devil... Perhaps God and the devil or good and evil exists in the body, consciousness and spirit at the same time just as it does in tangible and intangible space. Perhaps we are both good and evil by nature and design yet dont understand the purpose of evil, destruction, pain and hate as a beneficial tool to survival and continence... Yet this leads me to the question of the purpose of need and dependance and the reason for its creation. Why was need, evilness, hate and pain ever created if we are to only deny, fear and repress it... in vain?
