Studying the word: Dont Forget (Daily Bread) daily lesson. Dueteronomy:8:7-18....Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God. 8:11 In this lesson God brought his people out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage. Lead them safely to the Promise Land of abundant riches. All he ask was for them to keep his commandments and to remember Him. He also promise them that if they did forget him and walk after other gods that they would surely perish. So its not wrong to enjoy or have nice things because God bless us with them. We just should never allow our material thing to lead us away from our spiritual needs. We must never forget where our blessings come from. It shouldnt cause us to have a spirtual loss. Just as sure as God give it, just as sure as God will take it away. Meaning e should praise him at all time good/bad....rich/poor....sick/healthy....etc....Praise him at all times because He is Good.
