Studying today....Just thought I would share. No Amount of technology and scientific discovery can override or overshadow the incredible wisdom of God! Isaiah 40:22 - God sits above the circle of the earth. The people below are like grasshoppers to him. He spreads the heavens like a curtain and makes His tent from them. When the earth is viewed from space, it always appears as a circle. Job 26:7 – God stretches the northern sky over empty space and hangs the earth on nothing. This might evoke an image of God hanging the earth as if it were a Christmas tree ornament. But, He hung the earth on empty space. This scripture resonates sounds in my spirit that I can’t even express, that I have to say it again “But, He hung the earth on empty space.” Mmmmm. This verse expresses something quite unnatural for the ancient writers to imagine. For indeed, the earth does float in space. And thanks to modern technology, we now have pictures of the earth taken from space that show it floating in the cosmic void. The earth literally hangs on nothing …….just as the bible teaches. Again, I say “NO AMOUNT OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY CAN OVERRIDE OR OVERSHADOW THE INCREDIBLE WISDOM OF GOD! Go and ahead and dance!
