Sautee 7/8 red onion, diced (drying out) Add 3tbsp garlic, minced Add 1 Roma tomato, diced (wrinkly but ok) Taste and discard 2nd Roma tomato Simmer until onions are tender Add 1lb sm mushrooms, quartered (1wk old) Chop 1pkg (lightly oxidized) whole leaf basil Cook shrooms until tender, stir occasionally Meanwhile, thaw 2 sm frozen chk tenderloin Cut into chunks and cook thoroughly Add 1 cup hvy cream (expiring soon) Mix 2 cups beef bullion and stir in (no other stock available) Add 1cup leftover jasmine rice (from Friday) Salt and add crushed red pepper to taste
