Stung by the water police to the tune of $100! Our CITY MANDATED landscaping at the dealership is dry as a bone--the grass has large and growing brown spots due to the drought. Were doing our part in conserving and its obvious! Eff-ing make work water control gumshoe noticed a little water in our gutter and writes us a citation. There is no way any sprinkler system can operate without some water hitting on the curb or sidewalk--especially on the CITY MANDATED narrow strip of grass along the street. I literally hate living in California these days. I think Ill turn the sprinklers off altogether and let the grass turn to bare dirt--wonder what the SOBs would charge us if we did that? I wish the water patrol idiots would spend some time patrolling the areas I walk through every morning--maybe stake out those places with lush green lawns--now there would be a real revenue source!
