MEET THE PERFECT LITTLE LADY! A volunteer writes: Tucked down in the back of a kennel in the back room of adoptions I found the loveliest calico girl, an 8 year old named Lilac. She came into the shelter as a stray cat, but you can tell right away by just looking at her that she has lived with a family. Her fur is pristine and her demeanor is serene. But when you interact with Lilac you have proof positive that she knows and understands us humans. She is sweet, affectionate and loves attention. Now, if someone would just find their way to her kennel, she would be on her way to a forever home, Im sure. LILAC got a glowing behavioral rating, and isnt a stray, but probably is either lost or was left behind or even put outside! She was found in the Bayridge part of Brooklyn, and one wonders if perhaps somehow LILAC got lost-in any case, she so needs to be swept up and gotten out of there tonight-because LILAC is to be killed by ACC tomorrow!!!! Shes done nothing wrong, and is a lovely cat!!! But shes also got the shelter cold and ACC might well feel at 8 no one wants her! Prove them wrong-elder cats are often the most loving and appreciative of all cats-SAVE LILAC tonight!!! Dont let her be killed tomorrow!!!!!
