Stupid English teachers and their supporters need to understand we are merely adapting to the realities of globalization. Learning English as a language of academic and socially relevant discourse in American institutions of higher learning is now passe. Its useless to study English as a language and use it as a primary medium of instruction even if it is our peoples dominant language, simply because Mandarin is the new global language, resulting from Chinese economic hegemony. We dont care about identity, heritage, history. We care only about facts. And heres one or fact. English teachers and the English language will have to be phased out, the way Filipino teachers and the Filipino language were obliterated in 2013, in that banana republic, a chaos of 7,107 islands ruled by our SOBs since 1899 and peopled by happily clueless and docile people. They survived the debacle of 2013 by forcing Filipino teachers to take other jobs ranging from caregivers to shit dumpers like Nombeko from a funny Swedish novel. With a chuckle, we must add that the Filipinos are of course not as wise as Nombeko who escaped shit dumping to become a diplomat of Sweden in South Africa in a long journey that we encourage you to retrace by reading - not reenacting - that novel. That being said, we, the American Commission for Higher Learning, tells English teachers to stop saving themselves from extinction. English is dead.
