Styles of music. They are on my mind. Have been for awhile. Jam band music frustrates purists, unless it voices their comfort zone. It dont sound like country cause Vince aint in there, but ....he is. It flippin aint metal because Slash is Dead (possible) and was a wannabee (hummm..??..fair enough), it clearly isnt jazz as the inflection extends beyond recognized parameters. So. Jimmy Herring. Look this guy up. Allman Brothers Band alumni. Widespread Panic. Colonel Bruce Hampton, etc. Havent had the chance to see him/them live yet. Hope to. Here he is with one of his current bands.
