Sub:- Mention of Kashmir, plebiscite and ISIS by Nawaz at UN - meant for justifying future terrorist attacks in India Ref:- (i)- Modi at UN was in air without feet on ground (ii)- Modi lost opportunity at UN by not engaging for solving ISIS problem (i)- Now Kashmir solution will come from coercion only (ii)- Pak can harm India but India can’t (iii)- Once Islam pressurize Pak to agree for independent Kashmir, India will be in problem (iv)- In changed world of plebiscite in Crimea and Scotland, demand for plebiscite in Kashmir will have teeth (v)- If India now does not take POK militarily, Kashmir will be lost Dear All The professorial speech of Modi at UN without caring for India’s territorial concerns have opened a dangerous phase for India as given below:- (1)- Modi will not do anything at UN for solving border dispute with China (which can easily be solved within an year through UN Judicial Commission, as I explained in my previous letters) was known before hand because Modi lost this opportunity when Chinese President Ping this month visited India. Hence it was not a big jolt. But notwithstanding childish euphoria in Indian media on Modi’s UN speech, the way Modi naively responded to Pak PM Nawaz’s formulation at UN on Kashmir, should worry those Indians who take strategic matters of India seriously. Modi at UN put forward two conditions for resuming dialogue with Pakistan (i)- bilateral talks (Pak not talking to separatists before Indo - Pak talks) and (ii)- absence of terrorism from Pakistan. But Modi forgot that he was addressing UN and not gullible Indians and over adulating Indian media. (2)- Modi has failed to understand that cancelled August, 25 talks were bilateral only, between India and Pakistan and Kashmiri separatists were not supposed to be on the table. If outside the venue of talks, Pak talks to any body then how can it be India’s concern. If one goes by India’s logic then in this age of internet India may take objection to internet talks also (through computer / web cam etc) between Pak and separatists. As far terrorism, India has not faced any terrorist attack since Modi came in power as PM or even long before that. Otherwise also while canceling August, 25 talks terrorism was not quoted as a reason. Then which terrorism from Pak Modi referred to at UN, is an enigma. Modi could not understand that Pak took a stand that it is constrained to raise Kashmir issue at UN because India does not want to have bilateral talks with Pakistan. India has failed to understand that Pak also knows that it will not get Kashmir through UN alone. But Pak’s strategy to raise Kashmir issue at UN is same what Jinnah used and succeed in carving out territory from India in 1947 and that strategy is nothing but Islam. (3)- Hindu majority India can easily forget Muslim POK. But It is a matter of common sense that theocratic Pakistan which tried to take at least Muslim Kashmir (if not whole of J&K) militarily in 1947, 1948, 1965, 1971, during Kargil etc and Islam, which as per media reports, has laid down lives of ~ one hundred thousand Muslims for Kashmir can never forget Kashmir. Pakistan knows that neither India will part with whatever J&K is with it nor Pakistan will part with POK. Therefore Pak knows that now Kashmir solution will come through coercion only. But Pak knows that India and Pak both being nuclear power, it will not be easy for any of them to take Kashmir militarily. And it is precisely here that Pakistan has advantage in the form of Islam which can easily use Jihadis for taking Kashmir through terrorist attack in India coupled with demand for plebiscite. (4)- Some naive Indians may think that what is new in it as Pak / Islam have been doing it so long but India is not bothered because it is reconciled to it (some bloodshed and loss of lives in some cities of India in such Pak sponsored terrorist attack). Pak also knows this reconciled mindset of India. What has re-invigorated Pakistan is plebiscite with new phenomenon of ISIS and renewed Al - Queda in Indian sub -continent. Specially after US led air attacks on ISIS in Iraq and Syria some of its Jihadis will run away and are bound to find sanctuaries in Pakistan and Afghanistan and also in Muslims countries towards east of India (Chief Minister of Assam has already reportedly told Union that Al-Queda is in touch with ULFA to enter N-E of India) (5)- So far plebiscite bogey has not succeeded to any extent for the simple reason that Pak wanted Kashmir to be assimilated in Pak. Once Islam pressurizes Pak to agree for independent Kashmir, India will be in problem. In changed world of plebiscite in Crimea (Ukraine) and Scotland, the demand of plebiscite in Kashmir will have teeth. Islam will be happy that like Bangladesh, Kashmir on both side of LOC (if not Jammu & Ladakh) will be another Muslim country. Once Jihadis from PaK (including of ISIS, Al - Queda etc) start terrorist activities in India (and some even in neighboring Muslim terrorist infected Xinjiang region of China) then how much time West (USA & its European and other Allies) and China will take in supporting the plebiscite (or even Kashmir under UN Trusteeship) demand of Kashmiris - [India should not be surprised if they (already aggrieved by AFSPA) increasingly demand independence in tune with separatists, especially after their (and especially of Kashmiri women’s) human rights violation was referred by Nawaz at UN] - and of Pakistan, is any body’s guess. (The resolution of J&K Legislative council urging Union to talk to Pakistan has already put India in embarrassment). (6)- India could have solved its all the military and strategic problem had Modi (instead of giving lip service to democracy and to fight against terrorism) at UN given the following offer to USA, as I mentioned in my earlier letters, that for eliminating the menace of ISIS etc India is prepared to co-operate with USA (through troops and civilians on ground for UNPKF and UN Election Commission, UNEC) provided USA gives commitment that it will work for :- (i)- Providing commensurate place to India in UNSC (ii)- Replacing Optional protocol OP-1 of ICCPR with Mandatory Protocol MP-1 so that UN may intervene even militarily through UNPKF in case of serious violation of human rights in erring member countries and (iii)- Launching the mechanism of ‘International Political Parties’ (IPP) registered at UNEC. [The ‘Arab - spring’ will never succeed if political management of these countries (like Syria) are left in the hands of the political parties exclusively of the people of these countries, who are hopelessly under the strangulating influence of archaic Sharia-Laws and Jihadi elements being patronized by militant Islam]. [Jihadis (communal & violent) can be defeated by more powerful Jihadis (secular & non-violent namely IPP) only] But now India has only one outlet that India should retrieve POK militarily without any further delay (how India does it will be Modi’s strategic / political genius) otherwise be prepared for losing Kashmir to the Pakistani followers of Jinnah [who also used Islam successfully for carving out territory of West Pakistan and East Pakistan (present Bangladesh) from India thanks to naive political leaders namely Gandhi, Nehru, Patel etc].
