SubhanAllah.. The dire and oppressed situation of the ummah in some parts of the world today should remind us on the final Verses of Surah Al-Insan, especially verses 27-31. Verses that were Revealed during the days in Makkah, when the Muslims at that time - Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) and his companions (رضي الله عنهم ) - were the minority who were oppressed by the disbelieving Quraysh community in the city. Fully funded and supported by the wealthy antagonistic nobles, controlling the media and spreading hate messages to others, mercilessly killing, torturing, and massacring Muslims despite being their own neighbours of family members, whilst society at large being spectators. A situation which would seem hopeless and doomed for extinction. A situation which is not unlike what some of what some are facing today; if not much worse. A situation which, Allah was Fully Aware, and He is the Most Merciful to His beloved slaves, and He Knew Best the Solution. It is during this time, He Revealed these Verses - as a reminder to the Prophet and his companions of the reality of the situation, to be optimistic and steadfast in their faith. إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ يُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَاءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا 27. Verily! These (disbelievers) are in love with the present life of this world, and they neglect and put behind them a heavy Day (i.e. These people are doing what they are doing, purely for the fleeting material gain of this world - power, wealth, fame, etc. They ignore the consequences and accountability they will surely face on the Day of Judgment) نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا 28. (Remember!) It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And if We will, We can replace them with others like them completely. إِنَّ هَٰذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا 29. Verily! This is a reminder, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah). وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا 30. But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. (i.e. dont ever think or consider you know better than Him in how to conduct the affairs. Every single thing that takes place in this universe is only what Allah wills, and is within His infinite knowledge and wisdom. Even the fact that you are believers only occurs because He Wills it as such.) يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ وَالظَّالِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا 31. He will admit to His Mercy whom He wills, and as for the oppressors and wrongdoers, He has prepared a painful torment. (i.e. Dont despair or lose hope of the situation you see today of the oppressors, and of the righteous - do your part and assist the best you can, so that Allah may grant you His Mercy. The oppressors will never go unnoticed. Surely Allah will recompense all parties in absolute fairness - your time will all come, sooner or later) May Allah restore justice and ease the difficulties of the families of our brothers and sisters out there; and for those who remain patient in faith as they are oppressed and unjustly murdered, may Allah grant them all with a recompense of the highest levels of paradise. #SupportGaza
