Subhanallah Ya Rabb!! Look at what the children of this bird does to its mother after it breaks its legs and becomes disabled and unable to care for itself. We should reflect within our selves and see where we stand with regards to being righteous to our parents when one or both of them attain old age. Do we put them in nursing homes and let someone else take care of them while we enjoy our lives with our wives and husbands? Or do we fulfill their rights along with the rights of those under our care? Verily, some of us can learn a lesson or two from animals when we are heedless just like when Qabil killed his brother Habel (two sons of Adam) and learnt how to bury his brother after seeing how a bird buried another bird. فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ غُرَاباً يَبْحَثُ فِى الاٌّرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُ كَيْفَ يُوَارِى سَوْءَةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَـوَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَـذَا الْغُرَابِ فَأُوَارِيَ سَوْءَةَ أَخِى فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ النَّـدِمِينَ Then Allah sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him how to hide the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said, Woe to me! Am I not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother Then he became one of those who regretted.
