Subhanallah ! the seerah of the prophet `alayhi salatu was salaam and the sahaaba are filled with instances when they did not harm a Non Muslim fighter let alone a charity worker for muslims, in return for a favour they did upon the Muslims long long time ago . Here is one more example showing why anyone who acts like an ungrateful individual, not showing mercy and not acknowledging peoples favour has opposed the way of the Muslims : In one of the expeditions of the prophet (sallalahu `alayhi wa sallam) they were very thirsty and needed water badly. a pagan woman helped them out with her two sacks of water. this generosity of hers was remembered so much so that she herself says as reported in Bukhaari : ....Afterwards the Muslims used to attack the pagans around her abode but never touched her village. One day she said to her people, I think that these people leave you purposely. Have you got any inclination to Islam? They obeyed her and all of them embraced Islam... the Muslims remembered her favour and did not attack her ENTIRE MUSHRIK FILLED TOWN , then what about 1) Breaking the promise of safety given by Muslims (curse of allah as per hadeeth) 2) humiliating and not accepting compensation or requests by major islamic groups 3) and eventually not even acknowledging their charity help towards thousands of muslims and killing them? may allah save us from having only muscle and no `ilm. Having `ilm and no muscle still wins but only muscle and no `ilm are known traits of thugs.
