They are the largest Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) accredited by The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASMER) for boilers, pressure vessels, nuclear components, and process and power plants. The client offers a wide range of inspection services for owners and fabricators of boilers, pressure vessels, process and power plants. Authorized Inspector/Authorized Nuclear Inspector Locations: Lusby, MD (Nuclear Site) // Longview, TX // Russellville, AR (Nuclear Site) // Lacrosse, IL // Idaho Falls, ID // Owensboro, KY // Hays, KS Compensation: $53k; Overtime paid at 1.5 x hourly wage after 40hrs/week; Company Car, 401k AND Company Retirement Plan; ($50k value in start-up training); NO RELO Provided Position Summary: Seeking an Authorized Inspector/Authorized Nuclear Inspector to conduct ASME and National Board inspections. The individual should have experience with boilers and pressure vessels. The individual must meet the requirements to qualify for the National Board IS commission and ASME A endorsement. Responsibilities: . Perform visual inspections boilers and pressure vessels to ensure they are in safe operating condition . Review NDE reports and calculations . Enforce compliance with statutory provisions and industrial rules relating to boilers and pressure vessels . Coordinate incident and accident investigations and establishing priorities and methods for securing evidence . Authorizes repairs and alterations to boilers and pressure vessels . Provides technical guidance to agency staff, building and facility owners, and inspectors by offering guidance, interpreting codes, and resolving compliance problems and disputes. . Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system. Additional Requirements: . Clean driving record (only 1 minor moving violation in 5 yrs. No DUI, Reckless driving) . Ability to pass a background check (No Felonies) . Training: Must be able to have client send you to OH, CT, and potentially other locations for training. Initial Training to Exam takes approx. 3.5 months. Some of this time youll be onsite at your home facility. You must be able to travel for 2-3 weeks at a time during training period. . NUCLEAR Sites (only pertains to Lusby, MD (Nuclear Site) & Russellville, AR (Nuclear Site)) - You will need to be able to work for 1yr at another site (assigned by the client) and then you will start in Russellville, AR a year later. Federal rules and regulations require operators work 1yr at a non-nuclear site before working at a Nuclear facility. You will be responsible for your relocation. What the client wants from YOU! .
