Subject: Free Tickets - Howard Schultz and Rajiv Chandrasekaran Event - Nov 17th As you may know, next week we are hosting Howard Schultz (chairman, president, and CEO of Starbucks) and Rajiv Chandrasekaran (senior correspondent and associate editor at The Washington Post), to talk about their new book, For Love of Country: What Our Veterans Can Teach Us About Citizenship, Heroism, and Sacrifice. The book chronicles the lives of 10 veterans, and their heroics in uniform on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan as well as in their every day civilian lives following their tours of duty. This event is co-hosted in partnership with Town Hall Seattle. More information can be found here. The event will take place next Monday, November 17th at 7:30pm in the Pigott Auditorium. We have 50 free tickets for Seattle U students, faculty and staff. I am taking names on a first come, first serve basis.
