At night it gets more intense. Too many hand signals to explain them here. Everything is checked and rechecked before the “shooter” points down the deck as the signal to catapult the aircraft off the deck Heres a three minute clip thatll hold your attention whether youve been there or not. Watch these young (18-23 year old) Americans dance their ballet with danger as they launch and recover aircraft from a carrier. God bless em all.
