He is a controversial figure. Has been arrested for peace and justice causes numerous times, including time in federal prison. He has been arrested with Daniel and Phil Berrigan, Actor Martin Sheen, and Father Roy with the SOA protests. He spent time in a Nicaraguan prison speaking out against Somosa.
