After decades of occupation and a severe siege over the past 7 years Israel says that Operation Protective Edge is self-defensive and Israel needs to attack Gaza in order to stop rocket attacks. Over 1,800 Palestinians killed so far have been mainly innocent civilians, women and children. Hospitals have been bombed killing injured civilians; mosques, homes for the disabled and schools have not been spared. I am writing to you to ask you to clarify your position on the following: 1. Do you believe Israels attack on Gaza is disproportionate to the perceived threat? 2. Do you believe Israel is acting against International Law? 3. Do you call for an immediate end to the blockade on Gaza? 4. Will you call for the suspension of selling military arms to Israel? 5. Do you believe the British government needs to change its position on Israel and put more pressure on it to abide by international laws? 6.
