Submission Submission is a willingness to yield or surrender. Today I’m talking about submission to a Higher Power – the God who made us. He doesn’t demand that you submit; He gave you a free will. Do you every wonder what would have happened in the Garden of Eden if Adam had submitted to God’s instruction? He chose to disobey God. When I read the first three chapters of Genesis, I realize that it was God’s plan to have a close relationship with His children. Through Christ Jesus we have access to God and His original plan for man if we yield to His instruction, if we humble ourselves before Him. Jesus said, If you abide in Me and My Word abides in you, ask whatever you will and it shall be done for you. PRAYER Heavenly Father, I humble myself before You, Your will not mine be done. I will mediate on your Word day and night. By the grace of God I will be an obedient doer of your Word, so my pathway will be prosperous and successful. I renew my mind to your Word, and pray that your Word will dominate my thoughts, words and actions. I submit to Truth so that I will not be seduced or deceived by the works of the devil. I am strong in you, Lord, and in the power of your might. Today, I choose Life and the Blessings of Deuteromony 28. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
