Subsea Engineer- Tree Installation (Perth, Wsetern Australia) Our Client has a reputation for ingenuity, innovation and success and is poised to play a significant role in meeting global demand for clean energy. They are one of the world’s leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region. The organisation is one of the world’s preeminent producers of LNG; they also maintain a portfolio of non-LNG projects. They have an urgent requirement for a Subsea Engineer- Tree Installation The Subsea Tree Installation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of subsea completion and intervention activities (including LWI) in accordance with the Company Standards and Procedures. The successful candidate will: •Provide onshore planning and preparation of Client and Contractor subsea equipment prior to mobilisation (includes SIT) and recommending appropriate back-up and contingency equipment requirements; •Assist with the preparation of CTR estimates for subsea activities; •Provide subsea input to detailed completion and intervention procedures; •Participate in technical limit exercises to critically review subsea procedures and identify efficiencies / optimisations; •Supervise the subsea component of subsea completion and intervention activities; •Provide input to well status diagrams and handover documents; •Conduct ‘After Action Reviews’ to capture operational learnings and ensure they are transferred to the appropriate documentation registers; •Ensure that the subsea equipment is refurbished / repaired and preserved in accordance with approved procedures; •Coordinate the day to day supervision of subsea activities and contractors; •Provide operational input to the daily operations report; •Participate in Hazard reviews, JHA’s, toolbox talks and HSE meetings; •Comply with their HS&E policies, statutory regulations and Golden Safety Rules. You will have: •Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, City and Guild / Scotec / Higher National Certificate or equivalent; •8+ years subsea operations experience with particular emphasis on the installation and intervention of subsea tree systems; •Experience with LWI activities from a DSV advantage; •Current Solas / HUET certification; •Good working knowledge of subsea completions, workover and intervention operations; •Sound and demonstrated knowledge of well control operations during completions and workovers; •Good communication skills.
