Subset to say that Rusty died this morning at about 10 am.@ he was not eating on the weekend so I took him to the vet. He was to stay a couple of nights for tests. Unfortunately the tests showed pancreatitis and a bladder mass. We visited him on Wednesday and he was still not eating. Some news was good and other news was bad, like high sodium which could mean something wrong in his brain. We got a call to come quick this morning. He had a fit during the night and another at 8 am. We sat with him for a while and then he was given the needle. It only shortened his life by hours, but he had been in so much pain. It was sad to see him go. I will miss the special times like sharing breakfast every day and our 3.30 pm date every day.
