Substantial Relaxation of Visa Requirements for Nationals of Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam Japan has begun loosening its rules for applicants of multiple visas who are nationals of the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, its embassy in Manila said. In a statement posted on its website, the Japanese Embassy in Manila said that starting Tuesday, substantial relaxation of multiple visas will commence for these three countries, which is expected to simplify visa acquisition for them. Aside from substantial relaxation on requirements, the period of validity of the visa will also be extended for up to five years, it said.
