Successful Habits Having consistent success is all about the habits we form. Performance is a unconscious function. Whenever we act we are drawing from deep inside our mind as to how to act. The thought process behind our actions is ultimately moulded by our habits. As we do a behaviour over and over it forms neurological connections in our mind that become very strong. When those connections become very strong they imbed deep in our mind and an automatic cause and react sequence is formed. Then when we experience a stimuli we just ‘do’ the response. Using a simple analogy. What is the answer to 2 times 2? For nearly all of us the answer just popped into our mind. We didn’t have to think about it. We didn’t have to process it consciously. We have a deep connection in our mind that when we hear or see 2 X 2 we know the answer is 4. How did this connection form? For most people when they were in school, they repeated their times tables over and over again. Each time they repeated their two times tables they reinforced the linkage of two times two equalling four. The habit of consistently repeating their two times tables enable this automatic response. It’s the same with all behaviours. We want to make a habit of doing actions that will lead us to our desired outcomes quickly and easily. To do this you must identify the habit you want to form. Then you make a conscious effort to ‘do’ that habit. After a period of time the habit will no longer require conscious action but will ‘just happen’. How long do habits take to form? There are a number varying factors which will affect how quickly habits form but here we’ll teach you strategies to speed up this process. In the meantime pay close attention to the actions you are allowing to form as habits in your life. Make sure they are taking you in the direction you want to go. infinityloop.au https://youtube/channel/UCX-awmtbEFufOQbn5EPoR-Q Infinity Loop
