Successful, growing, family owned company looking to find an experienced Finishing/Framing Carpenter. This position will be mainly a Finishing/Framing Carpenter but at times may be required to work as a Rough-in Carpenter. Duties shall include all phases of rough carpentry work such as: demolition, insulation, and installing underlayment. Essential Functions: Do all phases of carpentry such as hanging doors, trim, cabinets, and all required hardware. Complete work orders as assigned, must be able to operate vehicles, heavy equipment and power tools. Practice excellent customer service skills at all times, to include but not limited to addressing customer and employee needs courteously and promptly. Must be able to travel to varied job locations and must maintain a safe work environment and practice safe work habits. Perform related duties as directed and must be a team player with a can-do attitude. Special Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and work at heights above one story. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the positions, i.e. bending, standing, climbing, lifting, etc. Excellant organization skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to meet deadlines and successfully cope with challanging situations and conditions. This position typically works four ten hour days (Monday-Thursday) but at times overtime may be required. This position will also be required to particapate in a rotating, on-call schedule about one week every month in case of an emergency. MUST have a valid drivers license and pass a background check.
