Such a dichotomy of a day. Yes I did have to look it up in the dictionary. My hero is sick, maybe very sick, maybe worse. I get to see one of my old friends at the WDR meeting tonight. So many memories, all good, from both people. This is the wealth I have been granted from a loving, caring Higher Power in Narcotics Anonymous. Because someone asked to adapt 12 steps, because a counselor gave someone a White Book, because someone started meetings in Neb, KS, Iowa, because people were absolutely adamant about writing a book, were here. Between speeding tickets, tickets for driving without a license and weekend jail stays, bicycle rides from Joplin to HOLP in Stockton, and many many laughs, between so many people going to college that there was a weekly NA meeting on campus at MSSC.
