Such a difficult read!...Violence is rife in the world...and no one, not even the young are immune. This is the story of a young 5 year old boy- Ahmed, his life taken away so quickly by the bullets that infiltrated his small body. This took place in Syria, 2011. Since then, tens of thousands of Syrian children are dying needlessly in senseless acts of violence. This has to stop..it has to come to an end. Until it does, we will continue to campaign, fundraise and make dua. Its the least that we can strive for to make a difference in our own ways. I will be setting a fund up soon specifically for paramedics and frontline field hospitals continuing to deal with collateral damage and these poor innocent souls that are caught up in the ugliness of conflict.
