Such a fun day in Toledo yesterday although the ride home was a little cold. Went and had the painting Bruce bought looked at. Not as great as we had hoped but still an extremely well done piece and will be put out once we find the right frame. Visited Great Finds of Maumee and the Maumee Antique Mall. If you havent been to these, you really need to plan a day and go. Great Finds is fairly new and about the size of our shop. Maumee Antique Mall is HUGE! Its in a former Hills store (think Super Walmart size) and packed to the gills. Everything from junk to great quality pieces. I always find something there, or two..or three..or four...Last stop was an auction in Delta. Bruce bought a patio set that nearly fit into the car. We drove home in the rain and 44 degrees with the hatch open and the heat cranked. Picked up a stunning pair of convertible 5-light candelabras and gigantic silverplate punch set. Should have them out in the next couple of days.
