Such a powerful and encouraging word this morning from Pastor Jason on standing firm on our faith and trust in the Lord. We need to practice a supernatural patience to reframe from acting on our humanistic tendency to do or say what we feel we are entitled to. (James 5:7) If we put all of our trust in the Lord, when a storm hits, this patience will keep us! Be sure you arent serving out of convenience by serving the Lord only when it benefits us. When we trust in the Lord and practice patience we allow His will to be done in our lives... we allow ourselves to become established on the path He sets out for us. (James 5:8) When a storm hits we have to go through it to get out of it. Its time to take a stand, endure and push through our trials. (Romans 5:1-5) Only then are we able grow, stretch and allow God to shape, mold and build our character. Dont miss out on your blessings by giving up when walking the righteous path isnt easy.
